Position Papers

This is the oficial MINIMUN 2012 guide for making your position paper. Please be sure to follow this format to ensure making a good position paper.

At the top left hand corner you should put your heading, which will consist of:

a) Delegate:

b) School:

c) Country:

d) Committee:

e) Topic:

Your Position Paper information will be divided in three paragraphs:

a) The first paragraph consists in the brief explanation of the topic to discuss.

b) In the second paragraph you, as a delegate, must explain the situation of your country in the topic to be discussed. In this paragraph you need to state your country's opinion and its participation with the United Nations on the topic.

c) The last paragraph is where you write the possible solutions or proposals your country has to solve the problem.

Dress Code

This is the official dress code of our MINIMUN ´12. Please follow this code to avoid future problems regarthing the entrance to the facilities.

Women

a) Blouse with skirt

b) Suit

c) Dress

d) Slacks with decent blouse

e) Dress shoes

f) Avoid laces, colored stockings, straps, and mini-skirts

g) No heavy perfume, heavy jewelry, or heavy makeup

h) No jeans

Men

a) Suit

b) Shirt, tie, and formal slacks

d) Matching socks

e) No hats, caps, or jeans
